This is coupled with the President’s appointment of 10,000 new permanent labour inspectors in 2026 tasked with Employment Equity, B-BBEE, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Human Resources (HR), and Skills Development audits.


The message is clear the era of box-ticking compliance is over. The days of punitive action by government are taking shape.
