WHY HAVE THE TERS (TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE RELIEF SCHEME) APPLICATIONS BEEN SUCH A SOURCE OF FRUSTRATION?

The perception that has been created, rightly or wrongly, that the process has been marred by incorrect information, in-comprehensible instructions, technical glitches and often a failure by the Department of Employment and Labour in terms of service delivery.

Now the next hurdle is that the system has only addressed the Lockdown Level 5 time frame (26 March 2020 to 30 April 2020 and the fact that next period will only be opening on the 15 May 2020, as confirmed by the UIF commissioner.

What now? Many of us may be wondering how much we can expect the benefit to pay out with pay day looming, as during these challenging times we’re “playing solitaire” with our cashflow daily if not hourly OR perhaps the benefit won’t pay out at all, as our first submission was rejection.

In the interim Exponential Brilliance has created a TERS Benefit Calculator to assist you so you know how much relief you will be receiving.

If your first application was rejected why not make use of Exponential Brilliance’s Toolkit that has been designed as part of their “pay it forward” initiative.
