Update on WSP and ATR submission

We are now in the season of WSP and ATR submission, please note the following:

Media Information and Communication Technology (MICT) Seta 

  • Online grant system officially opened on 18 December 2018 closing on the 30th of April Midnight (12:00 AM) 2019.
  • The planning of the WSP/PTP period remains as the 1st of April 2019 to the 31st of March 2020, while the reporting period of the ATR/PTR remains as the 1st of April 2018 to the 31st of March 2019.

Transport Education Training Authority (TETA)

  • Online grant system will be available on the 18th of February 2019, closing on the 30th of April Midnight (12:00 AM) 2019.TETA has a new grant application system. It is advisable to start working on the system as soon as it opens in case you have problems you will be assisted early.
  • Version 2017 of the OFO Codes will be used for both the WSP/PTP and the ATR/PTR.

The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA)

  • The online grant application system is now open and closes on the 30th of April Midnight (12:00 AM) 2019.

Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA)

  • Will be resorting to a new grant application system. Dates when the system opens will be advised.

The Fibre Processing and Manufacturing (FP&M) SETA

  • Online grant system officially opened on 16 January 2019 closing on the 30th of April Midnight (12:00 AM) 2019.

The Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services SETA (merSETA)

  • The online grant application system will officially be opened on the 1st of February 2019 closing on the 30th of April Midnight (12:00 AM) 2019.
  • The annual training report will be for the period 1 January 2018 until 31 December 2018;
  • The workplace skills plan period will be 1 January 2019 until 31 December 2019; and
  • The PIVOTAL plan and PIVOTAL report will be 1 April 2019 until 31 March 2020.
  • Where a recognition agreement exists between the organisation and labour/labour union, regardless of the size of the workforce, a labour SDF, who is a member of the Training Committee, is required to sign-off the grant application electronically on or before the deadline date.
  • Where a recognition agreement does not exist and the company employs 50 or more employees, an employee SDF, who is a member of the Training Committee, is required to sign-off the mandatory grant and discretionary grant applications, electronically on or before the deadline date.
  • Version 2017 of the OFO Codes will be used for both the WSP/PTP and the ATR/PTR.
